Created on 26 January 2026. Built it in Bitwig Studio v4.0. See notes below. Enjoy!
I wanted to build on my earlier experience and to explore some related twin peak filterbanks, like the entirely analogue Mutable Instruments Blades Eurorack module. The core of the AS Shermanik Filterbank preset was forms the base on which the AS Blades filter preset was created. The UI layout is closely based on the Mutable layout: a symmetrical layout where the Tracking, Shift and Routing is the centre with the filter parameters and then the drive and wave shaping and then cross modulating (XM) options. This is a preset that benefits from experimentation. There are lots of sweet spots to be discovered with subtle levels of XM (static or modulated) and leaning into the incredible range of options which Bitwig Studio's modulators have to offer (you should add the modulators you want, and then use them to manipulate just about anything in the preset).
Warning: can produce frequencies and volumes which may damage hearing, audio gear and speaker coils. Be kind to your ears and gear.
Suggested usage:
Start with the preset as shown above.

Experiment!
I'll write more as I work with and improve this preset. Goes great with my Shermanik Filterbank or Seal Eggs presets in the device chain.
Warning: can produce frequencies and volumes which may damage hearing, audio gear and speaker coils. Be kind to your ears and gear.
